A year ago, Sister Wives star Kody Brown and his family packed up their stuff and left Las Vegas to relocate to Flagstaff, Arizona. We know what they say, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! But in the case of the Brown father-son due, this wasn’t the situation. Apparently, two women are suing them for causing an accident and damage to them. Paedon was driving a vehicle registered in Kody’s name. The accident happened in 2017, and the women filed the lawsuit in December 2018.
Sister Wives: How Did The Accident Occur?
According to Starcasm, Paedon rear-ended the two women while driving. Stefannie Gonzalez and Mirella Flores are the plaintiffs who are suing Kody Brown and his son for “in excess of $15,000” for the injuries the accident caused them. Stefannie Gonzalez was driving, and Mirella Flores was the passenger. The ongoing traffic on the road had to stop since there was an emergency vehicle ahead. Paedon was driving behind the two women. They pulled over, but he failed to do so. As a result, Paedon’s vehicle got involved in a rear-end collision with the two women, and they got injured.
The collision was massive, and it caused the plaintiff’s vehicle to move forward and collide with another vehicle in front of them. Plaintiffs suffered bodily injuries because of the collision. As a result of the accident, they have been limited with their household and recreational activities. Their earning potential declined. They also suffered lost wages, mental anguish, physical impairment, and the loss of an enjoyable life.
Attorneys of Kody and Paedon Defending His Clients
Kody and Paedon’s attorney defended them by filing a response on February 25. It mentioned that the Plaintiffs are responsible for their own damages. It was their negligence that caused them all the trouble. But even though they filed a response stating that it was none of Paedon’s fault, the case is still ongoing. There is a hearing scheduled for January 8, 2020.
Sister Wives: Brown Family In Financial Crisis
Kody spent $820,000 on his property in Arizona. In May, the Brown family was deep in debt. Their new property had unpaid taxes that kept piling on. It’s not certain whether the family has still cleared the outstanding dues. The latest financial crisis includes $15000 that the plaintiffs are demanding. On the bright side, they have sold three out of four of their homes. Robyn, Janelle, and Meri have sold their house.
Paedon continues to be a US Army National Guard member. Do you think Sister Wives star Kody and Paedon will manage to get out of this crisis? Let us know in the comments below.
