As viewers saw in ‘Sister Wives’ Sunday’s episode, Meri’s has been stirring up the drama in the Brown family. On one hand, the entire family is making preparations for making the big move to Arizona. But Meri is planning to stay behind. It seems like controversies are not leaving Meri’s side since she proved that she has a mind of her own. Instead of blindly getting along with whatever her husband says, she is known to take independent decisions. Maybe that is what is causing her all this trouble and backlash.

Is Meri The Rebel Of The Sister Wives Family?

Recently, her decision to stay behind didn’t go well with Kody and the rest of the family. Kody’s second wife Jenelle says that she is really anxious about the decision. They don’t want Meri to feel isolated and really want her with them. That is what she is trying to reinforce. When Meri sat down with Kody and with the other wives, she made it clear that she had to stay because of prior commitments. Meri doesn’t say that she is going to stay here forever.
Christine was not totally against Meri staying if their house doesn’t sell right away. But Kody was concerned that she might face issues once the house sells out.

Sister Wives: Meri Looking For a Rental Place

Meri tried to eradicate Kody’s concern by letting him know that she is looking for a rental place in the city and has got the situation under control. She is apprehensive of the rest of the family misunderstanding her. She makes it clear that she is not deliberately planning to stay behind or leave the family in any way.

What Does Kody Have To Say About This?

Once the entire drama came to a halt, Kody said that she wants Meri to be more enthusiastic about moving together to a new place. He wants her to be elated about the decision. But her emotional reservations are making it hard to believe her commitment. In another episode, Kody told Meri that her motives seem a little selfish. To this, Meri replied that she was feeling like everyone was backlashing her for her business.
Kody and Meri were married from 1990 to 2014. But to legally get married to Robyn, Kody has to divorce Meri. The divorce was also required for Kody to adopt Robyn’s children from her first marriage. Meri’s bed and breakfast Lizzie’s Heritage Inn has her listed as unmarried.
