Cindy ended up bagging the most screen time in that episode. Cindy became quite the fan favourite following the last two episodes. In the third-to-last episode, Cindy ended up bagging a one-on-one date while the other ladies went on a group date with Mel.

In The Golden Bachelor, episode 6, the segment was hometown dates. The Golden Bachelor personally visited the families of the three remaining contestants. The first stop was at Las Vegas, where he visited Peg’s family. And the second stop was in Denver, where Mel visited Debbie’s family. Finally, the third and last stop was in Austin, where he met up with Cindy’s family. Cindy became the fan favourite, and Debbie left.

Upon his arrival, Peg took him to her fire station. He also met Peg’s mom, her brother, her sister-in-law, and her daughter. In the second hometown date, Debbie confided in Mel to talk about her previous relationship, where her ex committed suicide two weeks after their breakup while hiking at the Red Rocks. He met her brothers and sisters. Lastly, on the third date, Owens met Cindy’s three daughters, her son-in-law, and her soon-to-be son-in-law.

‘Reality Steve’ has revealed The Golden Bachelor Season 2 winner to be Peg Munson. According to an Instagram post from ‘Reality Steve,’ the Golden Bachelor is apparently also engaged to Munson. Peg has always been a leading lady for Mel from the very beginning. Their date at the Orange County Fair especially marked the beginning of their intense chemistry. Their connection strengthened as they played carnival games and danced their night away.

The runner-up is apparently Cindy Cullers. The finale is about to throw fans off their rockers since Cindy has quickly become the fan favourite. For the last two episodes, she has been bagging the most screen time with Mel. Owens has also been choosing her for much one-on-one time. Therefore, fans already deduced that the winner would be Cindy. However, the results turned out to be totally opposite.

Mel and Cindy’s connection has been progressing rapidly throughout the season. Their one-on-one picnic date was undoubtedly a fan favorite. The former pair went horse riding and also spent some time bonding over a picnic. Later that day, the pair visited Griffith Observatory, where Mel romantically confessed that she had named a star after her.

However, in a confessional, Owens came clean about ‘not being there yet’ when it comes to love. Maybe that’s the reason he didn’t choose Cindy in the end. Their breakup was very heartbreaking, especially for the fans rooting for them. But fans wish the new couple all the best.
