Sandoval auditioned for America’s Got Talent, which aired on 24th June, where he, along with his band, delivered a great cover of A-ha’s “Take On Me.” 

Sandoval’s performance was high-energy, yet it received mixed reviews from the audience. Simon Cowell said the vocals “weren’t great,” but it was entertaining. Simon, ofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Mel B eventually performed a  “yes,” securing them a spot in the next round.

Sources say Tom gained confidence in pivoting his career to music after the performance. “Tom is focusing on his music career; he’s less interested in reality TV right now,” a source shared.“He wants to launch another tour after his AGT run and capitalize on the momentum.”

Fans have also been praising Sandival’s turnaround.
