The Bold and The Beautiful is bang in the middle of one of the most thrilling storylines it has circled recently. Bill and Ridge are out to get Sheila like never before. But that story is reaching its end now that Sheila knows Bill’s truth. She might soon have to go into hiding to keep herself out of prison. However, we doubt Deacon Sharpe would want to help her with providing safe haven this time around. He already risked a lot the last time she became his bunk buddy.
Moreover, this time he has so much more to lose, if things got out of hand. He has finally managed to turn his life around. His daughter is proud of him and he is the proud owner of the successful Il Giardino. But will the success last? Or is Deacon about to have a new rival in town to steal away his customers?
A New Crossover Coming Up?
Deacon Sharpe is basking in the success of his new restaurant, II Giardino, on The Bold and The Beautiful. It has quickly become the number one hangout spot for all the bigwigs of Los Angeles. However, Deacon’s glory might soon experience a dent or at least a threat of a dent! How, you may wonder? Keep reading TV Season and Spoilers to find out! Recently, B&B’s sister soap The Young and The Restless, celebrated its 50th anniversary. Many iconic characters from the past resurfaced for the event. And one of them was Gina Roma, portrayed by actress Patty Weaver.
Gina was a baddie in the beginning but reformed herself and became a restaurateur. Recently, on Y&R, Lauren asked Gina how her restaurant was doing in LOS ANGELES! Yup, they name-dropped L.A. That’s where The Bold and The Beautiful is set up. Gina responded it was doing great! Now, this could have been just a statement in the passing, but what if it wasn’t? What if the CBS soap just dropped a huge hint at an upcoming crossover between the two soaps? They’ve done it many times before! Deacon himself has crossed over from The Young and The Restless to The Bold and The Beautiful! So could he now have a rival from there too?
Gina’s Restaurant Becomes A Threat For Deacon On The Bold And The Beautiful
Honestly speaking, the only major storyline that Deacon has going for him is, Sheila Carter on The Bold and The Beautiful. If she goes into hiding and he isn’t helping her, then he really has nothing else to do. Other than serving pizza, of course! So if the makers want to keep Deacon in the center, he needs a new juicy storyline. And what better than put a threat to something that matters the most to him right now. His newly re-launched II Giardino. That could easily be arranged if Gina crosses over from The Young and The Restless to The Bold and The Beautiful. And the base for it has already been created on Y&R.
These days the only place all the characters hang out on The Bold and The Beautiful is, Il Giardino. It would be nice to shake things up a little if Gina and her restaurant made an appearance on The Bold and The Beautiful. Not only will it give the characters a new place to hang out, but also give Deacon stiff competition. If Gina started attracting some of Deacon’s regulars, the duo would surely cross swords. He has been walking the straight and narrow for so long, it would be fun to see his sneaky side resurface once again! Gina, too is not a docile damsel.
