She may have loved him in the past but, her jealous craziness has brought her to stoop too low. Ciara and Tripp have made a plan to get a confession out of Claire. Ben has proven to Marlena that Claire was the one responsible for causing the fire and taking three lives. Marlena doesn’t believe at first. But when she takes a look at all the evidence against Claire, Ben tells her about Ciara and Tripp’s plan. However, he realizes that Claire can be really dangerous when someone pushes her buttons.
Tripp and Ciara will lie under a blanket on a couch and pretend to be intimate. They will act like there is a romantic relationship going on between them. The entire set up is to make Claire feel that she has caught them in the act. However, instead of getting a confession, they will make Claire go crazy with jealousy to the point where she grabs a knife and runs after Tripp. She manages to get the knife to his throat. Since we know that the actor is leaving the show sometime soon, this might even be his last scene.
