Days of Our Lives fans who have been keeping up with the show would know that there was a scene with some unusual screen partners recently. Roman Brady tried to comfort Gabi Hernandez DiMera after Jake DiMera rejected her. This led to Gabi and Roman realizing that both of them had something in common. Both of them don’t like Jake and Kate as a couple.
While Roman still cares for Kate and wants her to be happy, Roman just thinks that Kate can do a lot better than dating Jake. In fact, it looks like Roman thinks that it would be a lot better if Kate reunited with him. Would that happen? How would that happen? Keep reading to find out-
Kate and Roman Reunite?
The Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of March 22-26 reveal that Roman will make a shocking declaration in the upcoming days. Would it be a declaration of love? Salemites don’t usually declare anything other than love. So, it is possible that Roman might confess his love for Kate.
The Roman and Gabi scene seemed quite weird initially, but now with this perspective, all this seems to make the right sense. It is possible that the scene between him and Gabi was to set up a situation where Roman would put up a show for Kate. This would be the confession where he tells Kate how he really feels.
Days of Our Lives: What Would Kate Do?
Assuming that Roman does put up a play for Kate, what would she do after this? Kate is in a relationship with Jake at the moment. While Kate might cling to the spark she has with Jake, one thing we can’t help but wonder is why are the two of them trying to make it work? All Kate and Jake really do fight is about Gabi. So, she might choose Roman, a man she will not have to compete for.
Kate knows Roman and trusts him. He, in fact, is a more age-appropriate love interest. So, Kate would be able to eliminate those insecurities. Then, it is also possible that Kate might cheat on Jake with Roman. That is something that Kate does. It is in her blood, so we wouldn’t just rule that possibility out. With that said, it is also possible that Kate would just flat-out dump Jake and choose Roman. Jake clearly is hung up on Gabi even if he chooses not to admit that. If Kate breaks up with Jake, it will open up a number of possibilities for Gabi.
What Would Happen After That?
There are a number of interesting turns that the storyline could take after that. It is possible that Jake might blame Gabi and choose to stay away from her. Or it is also possible that he might fall in bed immediately after the breakup just out of spite for Kate.
Regardless of what happens there, it looks like this storyline would end with Kate and Roman getting together. Gabi and Jake might come together too. It will be very interesting how all this happens. We will keep you updated with all the news about the soap opera. So, you stay tuned.
