EastEnders: Emma Opens Up About Her New Love!
The EastEnders star opened up about her newfound happiness. She gushed, “I’m very happy. I have a lovely boyfriend in Jason, and I’m in a very happy place right now.” She can’t wait to spend her future with her new beau! And get this, Emma’s romantic past includes a high-profile relationship with TV presenter Stephen Mulhern. The duo dated from 2008 to 2011 after working together in pantomimes.
However, love isn’t the only thing Emma strives for right now. She’s all set for an exciting storyline with her EastEnders co-star Jamie Borthwick (Jay Brown). Their characters are participating in the London Marathon to support causes close to their hearts. As part of the show, the actors will even shoot scenes live from the route on the day. In addition, Emma Barton will be also running off-screen on behalf of BBC Children in Need.
On the other hand, Jamie will be running for Prostate Cancer UK. Earlier, the EastEnders actress praised the BBC’s organisation. Barton called it “an amazing organisation that does so much for kids across the UK.” She continued, “Their projects and initiatives enrich the lives of so many children.” So, our girl is super proud to fundraise in the event that does incredible work.
Additionally, Emma and Jamie are going to break the fourth wall while acting in their scenes, along with the other runners. They’ll be racing across the capital in this landmark event.
