EastEnders Star Kellie Bright Breaks Down While Fighting To Help Her Son

EastEnders actor Kellie Bright has been speaking openly about her son’s health journey and we’re all here for it. Viewers of the BBC One soap know her better as Linda Carter who is currently dealing with a lot of drama on the show.

EastEnders: Kellie Bright’s Emotional Breakdown

The 47-year-old EastEnders actress, Kellie Bright is a mother to Freddie, Gene, and Rudy, whom she shares with her husband, Paul Stocker. During a segment on BBC’s The One Show last night, she discussed the hectic process of getting an Educational Health Care (EHC) assessment.

In the video, Kellie is seen speaking to other mothers who are in the same situation as her. She also talked about this on social media, raising many responses from parents struggling to get an EHC assessment.

Furthermore, Bright opened up about her son struggling with dyslexia, ADHD, and autism. She told the viewers, ‘Last year, he was at the point of primary school and transitioning to secondary school and knew he’d need support.’ She spoke about the lengthy forms and how people have to show evidence and still wait for a long time to know the results. Many of the kids, like his son, are turned down on the first try.

Moreover, she also used the platform to explain the lengthy process, which is very intense and hectic. The actress broke down while mentioning that even though she has been able to secure EHC for her son, she still worries about him. Bright just wants her son to get through his education and feel good about himself. Additionally, she took to Instagram and posted a video about her film on BBC’s show.
