General Hospital recap for August 17, 2022, revealed the story of Sonny and Dex’s confrontation. Dex had assaulted a senior from his military days and was discharged from his job after that. Dex explained he did that because the senior was an abusive man who hurt his family. Sonny could not trust Dex anymore and needed time to think about working with him.
Meanwhile, Rory welcomed Trina with a drink. Spencer saw them kissing and decided not to reveal his true feelings. He confided in Josslyn and Cameron and told them he loved Trina. Sonny Learns Dex’s Secret
In this episode of General Hospital, Sonny called Dex to his office. Sonny was upset because Dex never told him he was ousted from the military. Dex was discharged because he was accused of assaulting a senior officer. Sonny was worried about whether he could trust Dex in their line of work.
In his defense, Dex said his brothers would beat him as a kid. His parents watched as his brothers hit him to the point where he ended up in the hospital. Later, in the military, he heard that his boss was an abusive man who hit his wife and children. Dex was angry and took the chance to teach him a lesson and had no regrets.
Sonny heard Dex’s justification. He could relate to his trials and tribulations but needed more time to decide. Dex left a piece of paper with the jury’s decision in Trina’s case and left the office. Sonny read the verdict and rejoiced.
General Hospital Recap: Spencer Makes A Confession
Meanwhile, Spencer wanted to tell Trina he was on her side from the beginning of the trial. However, before he could, Rory arrived, and Trina thanked Spencer for his decision to support her. She wished everyone knew the truth about Esme earlier. Rory gave Trina a soda as a welcome gift, a cheesy reminder of the first time they met. Seeing this, Spencer decided to keep mum about his love. On the other hand, in a private moment with Josslyn and Cameron, Spencer admitted to loving Trina.
Cameron and Josslyn encouraged Spencer to confess his feelings to Trina. However, Spencer saw Trina kissing Rory and confessing their feelings to each other. He decided he could not come in the way of Trina’s happiness. Moreover, he felt guilty for the complications he had brought into her life. He asked Cameron and Josslyn to keep his feelings a secret. Josslyn was upset to see Trina and Rory together after she heard about Spencer’s feelings.
Willow’s Diagnosis Is Official
In this episode of General Hospital, Curtis is happy for Trina and Portia. Curtis promised to love Trina like she was his own, and Portia felt uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Willow’s party guests arrived. Then, she claimed to feel sick and left the party.
Michael checked on Willow, who said it was the hormones. Later, TJ asked Willow about the biopsy results. Turns out the leukemia diagnosis was official, and Willow was very upset.
