General Hospital took the viewers by storm when it revealed Heather Webber as the fearsome Hook Killer. She revealed her face after she got wounded by Dex’s bullet while fighting Britt and Joss at the pier. Ever since that moment, fans had been trying to make sense of how exactly Heather could be the Hook Killer. The pieces didn’t seem to fit somehow. However, later she was arrested for the crime, and that seemed like the end of the story. Fans were almost ready to sweep it under the rug with all the other loose ends that never got tied. However, the recent episode hinted that the story isn’t over after all.
In the recent episode of General Hospital, Esme received a letter from her mother, Heather Webber. As soon as Esme started to read the letter, she was horrified to such an extent that she threw the letter in fear and disgust. While it was clear from Esme’s pale face that she did not like what was written in the letter, the content of it wasn’t revealed to the viewers. So we can only assume what Heather must’ve written to Esme. It’s highly unlikely that a raging psychopath like her would write to Esme just to say, “Congratulations on the baby. Love, Mom.”

So whatever was in that letter had to have the potential for a severe blow-up on General Hospital. Perhaps Heather revealed to her that she made the Hook Killings on Esme’s behalf? If Esme really has amnesia and doesn’t remember being evil, then this revelation would hit her like a rock. Maybe that’s why she was so horrified after reading the letter. But what if that was not the only thing Heather mentioned in the letter? What if there was a much bigger and a more sinister revelation included?
We know for a fact that the final few Hook Killings were carried out by Heather Webber on General Hospital. However, that was one Hook Killer attack that was different from the rest of them. The attack on Ava Jerome. While that attack also involved a hook, the hook wasn’t poisoned. Whereas, in all of the later attacks, the hook was laced with a deadly poison. So what if the difference arose because there were two different killers involved?

The ones orchestrated by Heather had the poisoned hook on General Hospital. Meanwhile, the one that didn’t have the poisoned hook was carried out by Esme! If Heather really pointed that out to her daughter, Esme’s reaction of terror would make so much sense. The amnesiac Esme has not only forgotten her past, but also her evil gene. Thus, finding out something so sordid would definitely make her balk. However, that also brings us to one big question. If Esme really did attack Ava, and if she really has amnesia, then this letter might open the floodgates to her locked memory.
So do you think Esme will start to regain her memory on General Hospital? Moreover, will she remember being the Hook Killer? Tell us in the comments. Meanwhile, stay tuned to General Hospital to find out what happens next in Esme Prince’s story.
