It sounds like Amanda and Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s DNA test will match. That makes them identical sisters. Elena Dawson has anyways pointed out that things between her and Devon will change if that happens. Will it? Perhaps. Here is what could happen there-
Elena To Be Insecure
While Elena thinks that things will change, Nate does not think of it like this. He thinks Elena is overthinking the whole thing. Will Nate be right about it? Since Amanda is Hilary’s twin, Devon will indeed have a soft corner for her. They might even grow closer. Because of this, Elena will start getting insecure. Devon and Amanda’s relationship does seem sweet, but perhaps Elena will have a hard time understanding it.
Young and the Restless: How will Devon React?
Devon is completely and madly in love with Elena, at least at this very moment. If Elena does not let go of her own insecurities, she will become her own enemy. If she isn’t careful, Devon might feel driven in Amanda’s direction. How does Amanda feel about all of this? Amanda indeed will have a special place for Devon because of the whole Hilary’s connection. But Devon isn’t really after a twin bride. He loves Elena and will continue to do that.
Is A Marriage Proposal On The Cards?
Devon will be very patient with Elena at the start. In fact, it is possible that he might make a strong move to prove his intentions. He might propose Elena for marriage to show his sincerity. All fans know that marriage is a big thing for Devon. He had arranged the deathbed wedding because he wanted to be Hilary’s husband at the last moment. So, asking someone else for marriage will be a big thing for him. This might also put Elena’s fears away.
Will Devon really propose to Elena? Elena might very happily say yes to that. But that gives no guarantee that her fears would disappear.
