The Young and the Restless have been aware of Victor’s deteriorating health condition for a long time. It seems like the disease is a fatal one. The doctors have diagnosed him with PNH, which is a rare blood disease. It is an autoimmune disorder in which the patient is deficient of red blood cells. The worst part is that a person’s own immune system starts fighting the red blood cells and excretes them out of the body.
Nate’s treatment hasn’t been successful. Even though he was on it from day one, it seems like the condition is a lot serious than we thought. He is in dire need of a foolproof treatment now. While we can still count on Nate, it would definitely be challenging for him to arrange a transplant for his patient. A sibling is the best choice for a stem cell transplant. But in this case, one of the children can turn out to be a suitable candidate.

Y&R Spoilers: Another Newman Conflict On The Way
According to The Young and the Restless Spoilers, another Newman conflict is on the way. If Victor needs to save his life with the help of one of his children, they are going to compete for daddy’s attention and approval. They all are going to hope for being the match for the dad’s bone marrow.
In the meantime, another Newman family conflict is going on. Adam has sued Nick for the custody of his son Christian. In this dispute, Victor is going to take Nick’s side. This gives a chance to an interesting possibility to unfold. If Adam turns out to be the only match for the donor, things are going to turn interesting for fans.

From what we know about Adam, he doesn’t do any favors without asking for something in return. There is a possibility that he might use the upper hand in Victor’s case as leverage for gaining an advantage in Christian’s custody case.
