Abby is worried about what’s going on with Victor and she asks Nikki to get it out of him. Victor finally confesses what’s going on in front of Nikki and reveals that he has been struggling with health issues. Nate suggests him to go to Newman Enterprises for his first treatment instead of the hospital. However, he refuses, saying that he doesn’t want his loved ones as well as business competitors to know.

Nikki advises him to tell his children but he makes her promise to keep this secret between them. He has a blood disease in which there are chances that all his blood cells could be destroyed. Even though Nikki is horrified, Victor is optimistic about his situation.

Ever since Kyle left Summer to get back together with Lola, she has been trying to get him back. She keeps proving that they are a great team. However, every one of her tactics has been falling on deaf ears. She had been trying to separate them and is really upset about her marriage is over. She donated a part of her liver to save Lola. In exchange, she asked one year of Kyle’s life as her husband. However, Kyle and Lola are too deep in love to stay away from each other for such a long time.

As soon as Lola woke up, the two of them got together. Kyle broke his promise to Summer by breaking his marriage to her so soon. But Summer is not done trying to win back Kyle. At Billy and Victoria’s recommitment ceremony, she decides to show up with Theo. Kyle is there to support his uncle and wasn’t expecting Summer to show up at a family event with a date. He couldn’t control his impulse as this clearly bothered him more than expected. Out of nowhere, he pulled up a piece of paper and twisted it to make a ring and popped the question to Lola.
