According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Kerry Johnson (Alice Hunter) recently shared a tweet which led the fans to think that she might be leaving the show soon. Meanwhile, till the time she’s on the show, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will force Kerry to betray Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni). She is Kerry’s boss and her friend. If she decides to do what Jack wants her to then this would flush her relationship down the drain with Phyllis.

The star took to her twitter handle to share a picture with her cast members dedicating a heartful message to them. This led fans to speculate that she must be leaving the show. And, the recent turn of events on Young and the Restless might be to bid farewell to her.

One reason the cast change is happening is because of the change in the executive producer and the head writer. Since they are hiring new characters, the team has to be cut down and Kerry is one of them.

She had come to the scene to replace Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) as the head chemist of Jabot. Since Ashley along with all the Jabot patents, it started a rivalry between a cosmetic group brand called My Beauty. So, the company hired Kerry to clear the mess, making her one of the top three women in Jabot along with Phyllis and Lauren (Tracey Bregman).
