It is a sure thing that Phyllis Summers and her quest for freedom might not end well for her in the long run. She has to pay personally as well as professionally for her newfound way of living.
Phyllis is going to betray the rest of the girls’ night gang and will face Nick’s wrath at its peak. He was committed to aiding these women in preserving the pact. Despite the arrest, he was certain that they are going to make it out of the rough patch. Sharon recanted the confession she gave earlier. The charges are unlikely to stick without JT’s case. Phyllis piped up and that is the exact reason why cops were able to gain physical evidence.

Christine Williams has the proof and a witness to prove her point. The fact that Phyllis threw all under the bus is what ignited the heated reaction from Nick’s end. Sharon, Nikki Newman, and Victoria Newman were her victims. How could she sell them out like that?

We can agree that what Phyllis did at the last moment was a blunder. Despite the fact that she made a selfish decision without taking into account the consequences, she has a wonderful defense ready. When Nick confronts her about her deeds, she defends herself by saying that she did them all a favor. The truth was bound to come out anyway. So, it was best that she told Christine everything. According to her, the girls have a better shot of escaping a negative situation since everything is out in the open. She considers their declaration as innocent victims to be a smart move from her side.

Now Nick has had enough. He is not ready to let go of this action from Phyllis’s side. Thus, he is going to tell her to leave his house. Moreover, he is also going to call it quits with her. Phyllis will be left heartbroken. But despite the rough breakup, it is doubtful that she is going to change her mind or regret the deal she struck.
Phyllis obviously has to move on from the breakup. But in the process, she has to prepare for more upcoming drama.
