Summer’s Stance Against Diane Over Jeremy
From the second Diane came back to Genoa City on The Young and The Restless and tried to be a part of Kyle’s life, Summer was not happy about it. However, she held her tongue the best she could and tried not to stand in Kyle’s way of healing his past with his mother. Despite Phyllis and Diane’s constant butt-heading, Summer tried to understand. But things changed a 180 when Jeremy Stark entered the picture. Summer already didn’t trust Diane, and with her criminal past, following her home was unacceptable for her.
Summer let her fears be known to Kyle on The Young and The Restless. She was the first one to say out loud that Diane had put the entire Abbott family’s safety on the line. However, Kyle did not want to hear any of it. He completely trusts his mother and believes her to be the victim here. These opposing views opened the floodgates of marital troubles between the otherwise stable couple. Now, all the couple can ever do is fight and argue. Most of the time, the topic is Diane. Is The Young and The Restless setting some sort of a stage here?
Jeremy Kidnaps Summer On The Young And The Restless
Summer constantly going on and on about their family’s compromised safety on The Young and The Restless is not in the passing. Summer has proven herself to be a reasonable person; thus, her fears will definitely be addressed. Unfortunately, that means someone will fall victim to Jeremy Stark once he returns. Jeremy is enraged at both Diane and Jack, so it would make sense for him to choose someone dear to the duo. The perfect target would’ve been Kyle or Harrison. But Kyle will be a challenging target and would be too risky if he fights back.
On the other hand, Harrison is just a baby and might not make for a feasible target, he would require too much care. Besides, we don’t see The Young and The Restless showing a character hurting a little child! That leaves only one more plausible target, Summer! Perhaps Jeremy will kidnap Summer and hold her for ransom. This won’t just be a punch in the gut for Jack and Diane but will also make Kyle regret the fights he had with her. He may even feel that Summer was right all along about Diane. Thus, pinning a hole in his relationship with his mother. But will he be able to save Summer from Jeremy’s claws?
