Even after the disastrous third season, fans are still hopeful for 13 Reasons Why Season 4. Well, from the looks, the installment seems pretty crazy already. Netflix’s popular teen drama is all set to wrap up its story with another set of spine-chilling twists and turns. However, it sure isn’t going to be easy for our beloved characters. Here’s everything to know.
13 Reasons Why debuted back in 2017 to become one of the most controversial teen shows of all. The series encircled much controversy upon its release for the graphic depiction of suicide and rape. However, it soon moved past that when people started liking the story and found it relatable. Henceforth, it connected to millions and millions of teenagers around the globe and became popular amongst them.

As mentioned above, Netflix’s fourth shot at Jay Asher’s teen drama will also be its last. Weeks before Season 3’s premiere on the network, it was announced that 13 Reasons Why Season 4 is the final chapter of the series. However, the news ended up splitting the audience into two. Some of them aren’t happy with the fact that their favorite show is ending. However, others respect the decision. Well, it’s obviously better to wrap a story early rather than stretching the plot and disrespecting it.
The last moments of the third installment left us with Winston and Ani arguing over Monty. Ani, Clay, and their group blamed Bryce’s murder on the evil character. However, Winston, who had an affair with Monty, advocated that blaming the crime on someone who died isn’t fair. Hence, 13 Reasons Why Season 4 may feature more of him.
The character may have much more screen time and importance in the plot this season. In fact, he may attempt to seek justice for his dead lover and eventually spoil Ani’s cover-up. This could lead to Alex and Jessica getting arrested for Bryce’s murder. Well, Winston taking a stand for Monty can be a major step towards the group’s downfall next installment.

Netflix
The third season of the teen drama did not explain how Monty actually died. In the last moments of the show, we get to know that he was killed in prison. However, the makers did not show him dying on-screen or further explain what really happened. Hence, fans are now wondering whether he’s still alive or is there some mystery behind his murder. 13 Reasons Why Season 4 may explain the same and give us the back story behind everything that happened in prison.
The highly-popular series has had an uneven release pattern since its debut back in March 2017. However, the second and third installments premiered in May 2018 and August 2019, respectively. As of now, it’s hard to predict a date. Although chances suggest that the fourth and final season of the controversial show may return towards the end of 2020.
