With the incoming Arrow Season 8, the series will end. Though the show will live for eternity in the hearts of its fans. The audience is in grief as with the last installment coming they won’t get to see their favorite characters anymore. However, they are also curious to know the fate of Oliver Queen also known as Green Arrow.

Stephen Amell Promises Happy Ending

In a conversation with Gamespot, the lead star of the series, Stephen Amell stated that the series would provide its audience a happy ending when the final season concludes. He also made the same revelation at Comic-Con International panel as “Arrow has a happy ending.”
Not just this, Amell also stated that the series has ended with the seventh season. Also, Arrow Season 8 will be entirely different. As he said, “I think that the show, as people have understood it and its structure I think it ended in Season 7 finale. This year is fundamentally different. The episodes are events, and, to me, the show, as we constructed it, ended when Emily left.”

Arrow Season 8: Will Take Place On Earth-1

Executive Producer Beth Schwartz also unraveled a piece of big news for the fans of Arrow at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. According to him, Arrow Season 8 will take place in the primary timeline on Earth-1. Earth-1 is actually a parallel universe from several other Earths and serves as the center of the multiverse. That is the place from where one can travel to any other alternate Earth.

Arrow Season 8: Will Introduce John Diggle Jr.

The CW also announced the addition of Russian Doll star Charlie Barnett at this year’s Television Critics Association summer press tour. He will play John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla Michael’s (Audrey Marie Anderson) flashpoint born son, John Diggle Jr. Also, last year’s joining, Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak and Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke will be continual cast members for the eight season.

End Of The Green Arrow

At the end of the seventh season, the Monitor appeared at Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak’s safe house. There, he told Oliver to make good on his side of their Elseworlds’ deal. Meanwhile, back in “Elseworlds,” it appeared that Emerald Archer had made a deal with the Monitor. According to that, he will have to save the lives of the Flash and Supergirl in exchange for his own.
As per the news flashing up, Arrow Season 8 will pick up a week after where the finale of the seventh season left off. The eighth season will see Oliver leaving Felicity and daughter Mia all by themselves. He will do this to save the multiverse with the Monitor. Also, Oliver will spend the entire eighth season traveling the multiverse. He will be warming the other realities about the coming “Crisis.” Also, the end of the seventh season confirmed that the Green Arrow would die in the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Talking about Stephen Amell’s revelation as the eighth season being a happy ending, it seems like Oliver will once again ditch his fate. It would be possible that he will change his destiny back and escape his death in the Crisis. This will mark as the “Happy Ending” for the beloved fans of the show.

Arrow Season 8: Premiere Date
