Netflix Nordic accidentally leaked the release date of Castlevania Season 3, and fans are going crazy. The incident was perhaps surrounded by much more controversy than it should have. Well, the production team has finally spoken up on the matter. Here’s everything you need to know.
As per millions of Netflix subscribers, Castlevania is one of the best game adaptations of all time. The artwork of the web series is heavily influenced by the original game, Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night. Moreover, the game itself was a hit, and millions of people around the world adored its presentation. Hence, the series gained popularity with its debut back in 2017. Besides, its storyline ranks itself high up in the streamer’s list of animated shows.
Castlevania Season 3: Renewal & Productions
The second installment of the show, based on the classic Konami video game, debuted back in October 2019. The season received much recognition and a great response from fans. Hence, Netflix wasted zero time in renewing the show for a third round. The news came our merely a week after the Season 2 premiere. Castlevania Season 3 is still under-productions as of now.
Release Date Leaked!
It had only been a month since the second season premiered on the streamer when Netflix Nordic leaked the release of Castlevania Season 3. In a tweet mentioning the arrival dates of several other shows, they accidentally considered the Konami-game inspired series as well. The social media post suggested that it set to hit the screens on December 1, 2019. Hence, fans began to question the authenticity of the leaked information.
Castlevania Season 3 Is Not Releasing In December!
The tweet was up for around a day, and fans were raising doubts. When much controversy surrounded the incident, Netflix Nordic had to delete the post. The production team of the series finally spoke up upon the same and confirmed that the leaked release date is just a mistake. Besides, Castlevania Season 3 is nowhere premiering around December this year or even later. The show may take a while to be back.
In fact, the show director, Samuel Deats, added to the controversy by saying that the series is still in production. He confirms that the team is still working on the last episode of Season 3. Hence, the third season is undoubtedly not releasing next month.

When Will The Third Season Actually Be On Netflix?
Well, it has only been a month since the Season 2 premiere. Hence, the third round looks pretty far away from now. The series took more than a year to return for the second run. Castlevania Season 3 may take around the same time and hit our Netflix screens sometime near the end of 2020.
