The thirteen Doctor of BBC’s 1963 show is all set to return. Doctor Who Season 12 will soon be at our screens, and it’s going to get crazier this time. As of now, the TV network has a big surprise for its fans. Something important is coming up this November 23. Are you ready? Here’s everything to know.
Doctor Who originally debuted years ago 1963, and since then, it has always been one of BBC’s biggest hits. After its revival back in 2005, the series continued to rule our hearts all over again. The eleventh season introduced us to the first-ever female Doctor Who, portrayed by Jodie Whittaker. The beautiful actress will continue to play the character in the upcoming installment, as well.
Doctor Who Season 12: Renewal
Looking at its popularity amongst masses, BBC had to renew the series for years ahead. Back in 2015, showrunner Steven Moffat announced that the sci-fi show would run for atleast five more years until 2020. However, this limits the renewal upto Doctor Who Season 12 only. Ahead of the upcoming season, fans may have to wait for BBC to greenlight future installments.
Doctor Who Season 12 Production Wrap
The cast and crew of Doctor Who Season 12 began filming back in January 2019. Actors had to shoot in various locations around the globe, while Cape Town, South Africa, remained the major one. Meanwhile, they kept on sharing a bunch of behind the scenes pictures from the set. By October 31, 2019, the team officially wrapped the productions.
