Netflix is all set to gift us ‘Elite Season 3’ much earlier than we all expected. The streamer finally announced the premiere of the new season. However, its early release has startled several fans around the globe. In fact, rumors and speculations claim this might lead to the conclusion of the series. With its debut back in October 2018, Elite became one of the most successful Spanish shows on Netflix. The streamer has been working pretty hard upon its Spanish shows, including La Casa De Papel. Thereby, Elite was soon renewed for a second run that premiered in September 2019. Season 2 turned out to be a massive hit as well, and the demand for a third-round increased.
Elite Season 3: Renewal & Production Details
Due to its immense popularity, Netflix ended up renewing Elite Season 3 a month before the debut of Season 2. The production team began filming almost instantly. In fact, they ended up wrapping up the shoot by October 2019. Cast members and creators proudly announced the season wrap over social media. Moreover, they soon declared some cast additions as well.
Elite Season 3: Major Cast Additions!
Elite Season 3 is planning to add a few members to its cast. Aside from Jorge López (Valerio), Claudia Salas (Rebeka), and Georgina Amorós (Cayetana), we will see two new faces. Back in October 2019, actress Ester Expósito who plays Carla on the series, introduced us to Leïti Sène & Sergio Momo. According to the social media post, the actors will play Yeray and Malick, new Las Encinas students.

What Will Happen Next?
The new season of Netflix’s popular show will be full of drama this time. However, Marina’s murder will still keep on affecting the setting of the series. Everybody in Las Encina now knows who killed her. Yet, the killer, Polo, is still wandering free in the Elite school.
Samuel and Guzman got him arrested for the murder by the end. However, with Cayetana’s help, Polo succeeded in hiding the murder weapon from the police. Hence, they eventually had to let him go. Elite Season 3 will begin from where it left last season. The students of Las Encinas may now start to protest against Polo. On the other hand, Guzman will find it difficult to adjust with all his betrayers in the class.
On the other hand, an Instagram story by actress Danna Poala (Lu) reveals that Season 3 will be set around the graduation. The video features Lu and Valerio wandering around the school premises on the day of graduation ceremony or party. Hence, the characters may graduate from Las Encinas this season. This may bring in much more drama and chaos amongst the characters again.
