NBC’s not-so-good girls are all set to return on our screens in Good Girls Season 3. Though this time, the new installment will delve them in a lot more problems than ever before. Moreover, new characters are set to join the gang, either to help them or to create more chaos. To know more, keep reading because we have all the updates you need to know about the third season.
Good Girls focuses on Beth (Christina Hendricks), Ruby (Retta) and Annie (Mae Whitman) as suburban moms who are tired of trying to make ends meet. So, they decide to stick for themselves by robbing the local grocery store. This not only gets them into much more trouble but also majorly affects their lives. Moreover, these problems follow them until the very end of the second season and apparently would chase them as long as the show runs.
Also, news came in that the episode count for the third season will increase to sixteen, from season two’s thirteen and season one’s ten. Therefore, the audience will see much more craziness and drama in Good Girls Season 3.

Good Girls Season 3: New Girls In The Gang
Former Orange Is The New Black star, Jackie Cruz has joined the upcoming season of the Good Girls. She will play Rhea, a simple and easygoing dental hygienist, and also a single mom. She’ll come along Beth and become friends with her as their kids become friends. Though both of them has no clue that they are linked together quite more than that. Also, Rhea will decide to help Beth as she enjoys the company.

Charlyne Yi: Another Good Girl
Also, as TVLine reported, actress-writer-comedian Charlyne Yi is joining the third season as a new good girl. She will play the recurring role of Lucy, a quirky artist with mildly impaired social skills. The three good girls will manipulate her to help them with their criminal enterprise, according to TVLine. The character’s requirement was foreshadowed in the finale of the second season where Beth remarked that she knew someone who could assist them with their faux cash gambit.
Previously, show creator Jenna Bans also teased that this new addition would also be another suburban mom with a questionable background and has no interest in being a ‘good’ girl. Furthermore, Lone Skye (Camping) will play Gayle, a successful saleswoman who works at the same hot tub store where Beth’s husband Dean (Matthew Lillard) works.
Good Girls Season 3: Plot Details
All three good girls have come along with the taste of a lot of Money. Now it is impossible for them to turn back to their old lives. Also, by the end of season two, Beth made pretty clear that she is not going back to a life of baking, cleaning, and party planning for her family anymore. Therefore, Good Girls Season 3 will see the women rolling into cash, in any way possible. And with the addition of Jackie and Charlyne most likely as the associates, things will heat up. The new girls will also help the older ones to get what they want, Money!
Good Girls Season 3: Release Date
The show has had a pretty stable pattern of release until now. The debut season arrived in February 2018, while Season 2 returned nearly a year later in March 2019. If it follows the same pattern yet again, Good Girls Season 3 will premiere by Spring 2020. However, NBC is yet to make an official statement about the air date.
