In the last few years, Amazon is working very hard to put up quality shows on Prime Video. One of such top-notch shows has been renewed for a second run. Hanna is a 15-year old girl living in total isolation in the remote woods of Eastern Europe. All her life, she has only known one person, and that is her father, Erik Heller (Joel Kinnaman). He keeps Hanna away in order to protect her from the CIA. The teenager is a genetically-enhanced human. She was given birth to become a super-soldier for the UTRAX program.
After the code collapsed, the CIA appoints Marissa Wiegler (Mireille Enos) to finish every enhanced child alive. Hence, she began her search for Hanna. As a result, the father and daughter separate, and the 15-year old struggles to survive without him. However, the story of the action drama takes different turns towards the end of the first season.
Hanna Season 2: Renewal
Amazon Video’s popular show debuted on March 29, 2019. Within days of its release, the series was garnered with loads of appreciation. Critics and fans have both acknowledged the efforts put up by the makers. Moreover, Esme as the lead character became a pretty successful decision for the streaming platform.

The streaming platform has mentioned that within just a few days, the action drama became fan-favorite. Moreover, viewers were already demanding a second season by then. The series took off with the basic plotline where Hanna tries to survive in harsh conditions. She deals with a lot of dangerous situations in order to save herself from the CIA operative, Marissa.
