What Will Happen in Orange is the New Black Season 7?

The sixth season of the show gave its audience a devastating finale. Blanca (Laura Gomez) was unwittingly carted off to an immigration detention center, and Taystee (Danielle Brooks) went down for a murder she didn’t commit. However, Piper (Taylor Schilling) was granted with an early release. This was because the show made a statement about the racial imbalance in America.
After being in prison for years, the seventh season will follow Piper in the outside world. She will try to adjust to a life of freedom while also struggling with being apart from her now-wife Alex (Laura Prepon). Alex is still in prison for years. Also, the final season will have a check on the other inmates inside the prison, Taystee, Nicky (Natasha Lyonne), Suzanne (Uzo Aduba), Black Cindy (Adrienne C Moore), Red (Kate Mulgrew) and Daya (Dascha Polanco).

Will There Be Spin-offs Of This Netflix Original?

Orange is the New Black gained its popularity throughout the world. And with the news of the show ending, the rumors started speculating about a sequel or spin-off show for the series. On that note, Lionsgate TV Group chairman Kevin Beggs expressed his views about the possible sequel. As he stated, “Keep in mind, we own that series and will be distributing it for years to come. We’re already in discussions and, when the timing is right, we’ll talk further with [writer] Jenji [Kohan] about a potential sequel.”
