Bateman while talking with Ellen on the Ellen DeGeneres show back in August, unveiled that he is taking time off work till March. Bateman explained the reason behind this break. He said that his kids are growing up and he desires to spend some time with them. Never forget that Jason Bateman is the heart and soul of Ozark. He has been very busy lately in all the work of Ozark. Thus he definitely deserves a break with his family.
Along with characterizing the lead role of Marty Byrde, Jason has also directed a few episodes of Ozark. Moreover, he is also the Executive Producer of the Ozark. All in all, Jason Bateman is a one-man show for Ozark. Therefore, him taking a break till March means, Ozark Season 3 will get delayed for a bit.

After a month from the premiere of the Season 2 of Ozark, the series got renewed. Bateman tweeted about the renewal of the show. Season 3 of this thriller series has been ordered with 10 episodes.

The series has also swept awards left and right. The series has gained many awards including one for Julia Garner. She plays Ruth Langmore, getting a nomination for Critics Choice Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Jason Bateman also got nominated for the Golden Globes. Laura Linney who portrays the character of Wendy Byrde, wife of Marty also expressed her gratitude over these awards. She took on Instagram, to address her happiness.
Premiere Date Of Ozark Season 3
The prior two seasons of Ozark premiered in July 2017 and August 31, 2018, respectively. However, due to Bateman’s work off, Ozark Season 3 will get a little premiere delay. The official announcement for the premiere date of Season 3 is yet to be made. However, it is expected to premiere in the last months of 2019.
