Cast Members Are Currently Filming!
The cast members of Ozark Season 3 are currently filming for the installment. After its renewal back in October 2018, the series took a few months to begin the productions. Lead actors Jason Bateman, Laura Linney and Julia Garner announced the beginning with a couple of beautiful group pictures. As of now, the cast members may soon wrap the shoot.

The recent Emmy Awards brought in glorious victories for the cast of Ozark. All three of the lead cast members, Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, and Julia Garner, were nominated. Bateman won an accolade for Outstanding Direction for a Drama Series. Whereas, Garner bagged one for her performance as a supporting actress in a drama series. The actors celebrated their win and shared a bunch of pictures on social media.
Jason Bateman Reveals ‘Ozark Season 3’ Will Take A Time Leap
It’s been a while since the showrunners last revealed any detail related to the upcoming season. Earlier back in August, executive producer Chris Mundy shared some information about Ruth’s entry to the Byrde family. He emphasized that Ozark Season 3 will see her getting deeper and deeper into the family. However, he also suggests that the character might regret the decision later in time.
The showrunners have previously informed us that the third installment would not be easy for the Byrdes to survive. In fact, an outside force may soon bring in havoc for the family. Also, Marty may fall into life-threatening situations this time. There’s a lot that will happen in Ozark Season 3, and the family will struggle to fight it.
As of now, lead actor, director, and executive producer Jason Bateman hints a few major details about Season 3. He reveals that the story will take a time jump this time. Moreover, the installment will now pick up six months after the Season 2 finale. We may later get to know what actually happened in between the time window.
When Will Ozark Season 3 Release?
Since its debut season, Ozark has always had an irregular release pattern. We are already in October 2019, while the previous installment premiered in August 2018. Since the cast members are still filming, Ozark Season 3 may not return anytime soon. However, the series is set to be back in the last quarter of this year. Hence, we may have to wait for a few more months to finally be able to watch the Byrdes again.
