Will It Be The Last Season Of The Series?
BBC didn’t take long to renew the Poldark Season 5 as they knew that it has the potential to gather large audience again. However, as the premiere of the new season is nearing, rumors that claim this might be the last season have flooded the internet. All the rumors were proven to be right after co-executive producer, Debbie Horsfield confirmed the same. She explained that as far as the makers concerned, this might be the end of the show.
Poldark Season 5: Time Leap
Speculations have surrounded the final season of Poldark. The new installment is stated to have a long time leap. Moreover, as per Season 5’s official synopsis, it is likely to be based in a new century. Also, as stated by the showrunner, Debbie Horsfield, the upcoming season will be based on the famous book, “The Stranger from the Sea.”
The book will bring major changes in the plot and characters, by moving forward in time. The new installment will be based on Stephen Carrington. Jeremy rescues him from the titular sea only to cause several shifts in the Poldark family. Moreover, we may also get to see the grown-up versions of Jeremy and Clowance.
Poldark Season 5: The Return Of The Villain
As per recent reports, Jack Farthing who plays the antagonist on the show will be back in the new season. George Warleggan, the villain, died in the previous season. Hence, this time he will return via flashbacks that may hold much importance in the next installment.

Poldark Season 5: When Is It Coming Out?
BBC One’s historical period drama apparently has a tendency to receive high ratings yet again. The network is yet to declare an official release date. However, as the previous two seasons aired in June 2017-18, we can expect the fifth season to arrive around the same time as well. Poldark Season 5 can premiere in June 2019 at the earliest. If delayed, we can firmly expect it before the fall of this year.
