Prison Break Season 6: Production Underway
The filming work for the sixth season of Prison Break is in ongoing. The news got confirmed as the lead of the show, Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows) announced that he had gone back to film the sixth season. He confirmed this news on Instagram that a sixth season was actually in the works in December 2018.
Later, Fox also officially confirmed that more episodes of the crime drama are underway. The filing work also got delayed quite much because of the merging of Fox and Disney.
What Will Happen in Prison Break Season 6?
The forthcoming installment of the series will likely be different from the rest of the five installments as well, as per the reports. Also, speculations were flashing that the sixth season will feature a significant time-lapse. To that, Fox also cleared that Prison Break Season 6 is going to be a new iteration of the show.
In addition to that, series writer and show-runner Paul Scheuring revealed that the new season would feature the return of our favorite heroes. Not just this, he also stated that Prison Break Season 6 would fetch back the fans of the show to the beginning, that too to the very first frame.
Michael Out Of Prison
The sixth season of the show would likely feature Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) living a normal life as he will be out of the prison. He will be spending more time with his family in the sixth season. However, it seems like his return to the outer world will be much more difficult, as it can ever be. He would be struggling to handle his new life in the upcoming season. This is because of the trauma that he experienced in the previous season of Prison Break.
Meanwhile, theories are surfacing that the brother of Lincoln Burrows could start working for the CIA in Season 6.
Prison Break Season 6 Release Date
Its been two years since the last installment of Prison Break premiered. Therefore, the fans are craving to have Prison Break Season 6 as soon as possible. As the production work for the next season is still in works, it seems like the fans will need to wait a little bit more for the sixth season. However, it is expected to premiere sometime early 2020. Though Fox is yet to announce an official premiere date for Prison Break Season 6.
