Mike Flanagan redefined the horror genre with his 2018 series starring a brilliantly talented cast. The Haunting Of Hill House Season 2 will be back with the chills. But this time, we’re moving out of the devilish Hill House. The second season will focus on another haunted mansion and the hauntings that affected another set of lives there. However, we’ll get to see some known faces too. Two of the popular actors from Season 1 will join the latest cast in Season 2. But who will they play this time?
The popular series received loads of appreciation from audience and critics both. Some of the fans even call it the best horror drama in history. Season 1 finale was not easy to watch. The hauntings and jump scares were on the peak in the last episode. Moreover, it even had a very emotional climax. With the way it ended, none of the viewers was sure if we will see more of Hill House or not. Sadly, we may not. The new season will be an entirely new story called ‘The Haunting Of Bly Manor.’
The Haunting Of Hill House Season 2: Luke Returns
Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who played Luke Crain on Season 1 is all set to be back for another performance. Although, the handsome man may not play his previous character anymore. Along with the story, the series will move on from old characters as well. Hence, the actor is signed to play ‘a charming fellow’ called Peter, as mentioned by the showrunners. We may not see him as Luke anymore, but fans are glad to have him on board again.
The Haunting Season 2: Will Victoria Pedretti Play Nell Again?
Alongside Oliver, another popular cast member from Season 1 will be back in Bly Manor. Victoria Pedretti played Nell or Nellie Crain in the previous installment will return to pick up a major role. Showrunners signed her back in June of this year. The talented actress will play the lead role of ‘a governess who takes care of two children.’ The Haunting Of Bly Manor is based on Henry James’ famous novella, The Turn Of The Screw.

The Haunting as a series will remain to be one of the best pieces of horror drama ever. Mike Flanagan had much to offer in the show. Season 1 was the perfect blend of emotions, scariest ghosts, trauma and its effects, human values and mental illness. Flanagan’s writing and direction were above the par and contributed a lot in giving us goosebumps while watching. Hopefully, the new season will continue the excellence with another spine-chilling story.
