The Haunting Of Hill House Season 2: Spoilers By Victoria Pedretti! Production Wrap, Air Date

Netflix

It’s never too early to prepare for Halloween! ‘The Haunting Of Hill House Season 2’ is all set to return sooner this year. We’re finally moving out of Season 1’s haunted mansion, Hill House, to shift into another one. Moreover, Mike Flanagan is wrapping up the shoot of ‘The Haunting Of Bly Manor.’ So when exactly will we get to watch the new episodes? Here’s everything to know.

The debut season of Flanagan’s masterpiece introduces us to the Crain family and their experiences in Hill House. Based on Shirley Jackson’s 1959 novel, the series sets a unique premise with spine-chilling plot twists and emotional story developments. Being an anthology series, Season 2 will now shift its focus to another haunted mansion. This time, the plot will be inspired by the 1898 horror novella The Turn of the Screw by Henry James.

What Will Happen In ‘The Haunting Of Bly Manor?’

The story of ‘The Haunting Of Hill House Season 2’ will revolve around a governess who is hired to take care of two kids. While living in the Bly Manor, all three of them experience paranormal things living in the mansion. Over the course of decades, the story of the novella remains to be pretty controversial. Readers seem to have different opinions upon the paranormal angle of the plot. Well, now that Mike Flanagan is putting up his directorial perfection, we hope the series gives us all a better vision of the narrative.

On the other hand, the story of the book is actually set in the 1800s or even earlier. Chances suggest that, like the first season, Flanagan may shift the timeline of Season 2. The Haunting Of Hill House was based in the 21st century, while Shirley Jackson’s book wasn’t. This gives much liberty to the creator in handling the premise better. Hence, The Haunting Of Bly Manor may pick up its plot from recent times instead.
