Killing the main character was a big decision to take for the creators of the show. However, they claim that Quentin was as crucial as any other character in the show. Hence, Syfy may take a while to announce a firm premiere date for ‘The Magicians Season 5.’ However, as per its pattern of release, the last three installments have all began airing in the month of January. Thus, there are high chances that the new season will also premiere in the same month. We can expect it to air in January 2020.
