The finale of the debut season was extremely bizarre. Towards the end, Vanya’s age destroyed the entire world, and everything went up in flames. Luckily, Number Five manages to save his siblings using his time-traveling powers. The superheroes plan to travel back in time in order to change things that caused the apocalypse in the first place. The story of The Umbrella Academy Season 2 may put its primary focus on Vanya this time.

New Cast Additions!

The Umbrella Academy Season 2 will now expand its already-huge cast. Besides the seven superheroes and their younger selves, the second season will welcome a few new characters. Three talented actors will be joining the upcoming installment. This includes Marin Ireland, Yusuf Gatewood, and Ritu Arya.

American actress Marin Ireland is newly cast to play Sissy, a fearless, no-nonsense Texas mom. The character married young for all the wrong reasons. Ireland is popular of her role on Amazon Prime’s Sneaky Pete. Moreover, she will soon star in the upcoming FX series “Y” as well.

Good Omens fame Yusuf Gatewood is called in to play Raymond. Details describe him as a born leader, with smarts and gravitas. He also has the confidence to never have to prove it to anyone. Moreover, the character is warm, dedicated, and has the innate ability to disarm you with a look. Lastly, actress Ritu Arya is joining the cast of the second season as Lila. Arya is best known for her performance in AMC’s Humans. Her character Lila is a chameleon who is brilliant, yet clinically insane at required situations.
