While discussing her ending on the show, Melissa stated that her survival through the first season was a shock for her. As she stated, “I didn’t think she would last for three episodes in the first season. And then I wasn’t sure that she’d survive the second season.”
McBridge went on as “And then we have the 10th season… you never know! So I’m extremely surprised”. This led the fans to speculate that Carol Peletier might die in the upcoming second half of Season 10. This is huge news, as she is one of the leads and primary survivors since the first season of the show.
