Adapted for TV series by Rafe Judkins, The Wheel of Time is based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling fantasy novel series, which have sold more than 90 million copies worldwide. Amazon picked up the book for converting it into an epic television series, produced by Sony Pictures. The first season of the series is in its production phase, and some news started flashing about its next run, The Wheel Of Time Season 2.
The Wheel of Time serves as one of the most popular and abiding fantasy series of all-time. The novella is set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists, and only some women are allowed to access it. The Wheel Of Time follows Moiraine, a member of the astoundingly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai. She reaches in the small town of Two Rivers, from where, she embarks on a crucial, world-spanning journey with group of five young men and women. She also believes that one of them is destined to be the reincarnated Dragon, who is supposed to either save or destroy humanity.
The Wheel Of Time Season 2: Already In Works
The filming for the first season of The Wheel of Time is underway. And the streaming service has already started working on its second run. It looks like Amazon Prime is sure about the success of the show’s first run. And they all are very much excited about having the second run as soon as possible. In a tweet on Wednesday, show-runner Judkins revealed that he’s begun writing on season 2, even though production on season 1 is still in the run.
Starting the S2 writers’ room on Wheel of Time and the Czech builders didn’t fully grasp how many whiteboards are needed to break an entire season of television. Ha. pic.twitter.com/6nJZIsegmZ

Fans Excited Over The News
Just after seeing the tweet, the audience started confirming the news as they did not believe it. To confirm, Judkins replied to one of the fans that he is “just writing it now.” However, that only means the return of The Wheel of Time for the second run. Although, it’s risky to renew a show even before the completion of filming for its debut season. However, it seems like Amazon Prime has faith in the debut season itself, that they started working on the second season as well.
Wait….did you already get renewed for a second season? Maybe I read it wrong.
