Netflix is all set to creep us out with You Season 2 right after Christmas. Well, get ready for another Joe-filled set of episodes with much more stalking than ever before. However, this time, the handsome anti-hero is in LA with a brand new identity. What?! Yes, he is, and here’s everything you need to know about it.
The popular streaming giant introduced us to Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), back in July 2018. Well, since then, ‘You’ is one of the most talked-about shows online. The story of the show revolves around our anti-hero and his crazy obsession with his crushes (later girlfriends). While in the first season, he was in love with Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) and stalked her until she falls for him too. However, their love story didn’t end well, as Joe ends up killing her (Is she alive, though?). The maniac is now in another town, crushing over another girl.
You Season 2: Joe’s New Obsession!
Goldberg has found his new love interest to obsess upon. The second installment of the series will now revolve around Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), an aspiring chef, who is working for an unfulfilling job. As she meets Joe in LA, Love soon becomes the center of his odd curiosity. However, unlike Joe’s stalkerish attempt to woo his crush, the new couple will naturally connect. The new cast addition is also grieving over someone’s death and senses that Joe has lost someone as well. However, things may not be the same anymore, having Candace (Ambyr Childers) in the picture in You Season 2.
Candace Is Toxic For Joe?
The debut season of ‘You’ tricked us into believing that our leading man may have already killed his ex. However, as Candace walked through Joe’s book store in the last moments, Netflix dropped the bomb. The character is actually alive in You Season 2 and will have a major role to play. In fact, the latest pictures reveal that she is actually pretty friendly to her ex. A social media post gives us an insight into the new installment with a picture of Joe and Candace sitting in a cafe while holding hands.
Some theories on the internet say that Candace may actually be the reason for Joe’s mental disturbance. We already know that she still has a massive effect on him as Joe imagines her very often. Hence, rumors reveal that Candace may be toxic for the leading man and may drive him even more crazy in You Season 2. What do you think?
Joe Is In LA With A New Identity!
The first teaser of You Season 2 is finally out, and it looks insane. The video features Joe walking into a coffee-shop and yelling things about people in LA in his mind. However, he now refers to himself as Will. This clearly reveals that he’s moved from New York with a new identity. Well, his attitude is pretty much the same. Netflix shared the official teaser on its social media account with a bunch of pictures revealing new characters.
When Will You Season 2 Be On Netflix?
Joe, as Will, will arrive at our screens right after Christmas. Well, you’d now have enough time to binge-watch in the holidays. You Season 2 premieres on December 26, 2019, on Netflix.
