Now, she is dealing with all the consequences herself after doing some really questionable things.
This has become her new normal now. Her constant run-ins with the law no longer shock the fandom. Her most recent case has been about her fentanyl abuse and involuntary manslaughter. This happened shortly after she lost her son. Ever since then, she has been going around, trying to find redemption. Now the State of Georgia is actively pursuing a case of involuntary manslaughter against her.

Teen Mom star Whitney Purvis’ eldest son, Weston, sadly passed away very early. Since then, the sorrowful mother has lost her way in life. This year, the teen was supposed to turn 17 but could not. Therefore, on his birth anniversary, his grieving mother has penned down a heartfelt tribute for him. She took to her Facebook to share her heartfelt agony.
The grieving mother wrote how much she missed him and wished that he was still there with her. “He was my greatest accomplishment in life; he was such a good person, so funny and wise beyond his years,” she wrote. She additionally recalled a core memory in which he disliked her calling him beautiful. But to her, he was so beautiful in so many ways.
Teen Mom star Whitney Purvis’ arrest record has been growing over the years. She was recently facing 7 felony charges. The charges were involuntary manslaughter, possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, and using a communication device to aid a drug-related crime. She is additionally facing upgraded charges of “aggravated involuntary manslaughter.”

That is because her friend died in the fentanyl accident. However, she had pleaded “not guilty” in her last court hearing. However, now, the State of Georgia is actively pursuing and preparing a case against her for that involuntary manslaughter charge. They have also claimed that they are almost ready to put her on trial for the charge.
A status hearing is scheduled for August 6, and a jury trial for August 26. Back in March, the legal representation for both sides sent subpoenas to witnesses they planned to call at the Teen Mom star’s trial, including law enforcement officers handling the case. In addition, the prosecutors have also informed Whitney’s lawyer about certain evidence.
They will introduce “residual hearsay” evidence at trial. These will include several statements from the victim to the reality tv star before he passed away. Some statements in the evidence also contain some sort of confession from Purvis and her comment on the victim’s obituary.
