Re Zero, aka Ri:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, is a Japanese isekai dark fantasy anime series. It is based on the isekai light novel of the same name by Tappei Nagatsuki and Shinichiro Otsuka. White Fox Studio adapted the LN series for the anime that made its debut on April 4, 2016. Its second season premiered after a long gap of four years on July 8, 2020. It ran for 25 episodes and recently concluded on March 24, 2021.

So, it is likely that Re Zero Season 3 will adapt the fifth arc titled “Stars That Engrave History.” Only this arc is enough for the makers to produce the third season of the anime.

Both the previous installments of the anime series were very successful. It boosted the sales of the LN and the manga series and made a lot of money for the producers as well. It met with great audience reception, and the viewership is also great. Plus, the anime has a huge fandom who are demanding the third season, and White Fox Studio has enough source material as well.
