Secondly, Snow White with the Red Hair is produced by Bones Studio. Recently, Bones has released highly popular shows like My Hero Academia Season 4 and Bungo Stray Dogs 3. According to the reports Bones is currently developing Mob Psycho 100 Season 3. This could be the main reason behind the delay. Currently, Bones hasn’t confirmed anything about Snow White with the Red Hair Season 3.
Possibilities of Akagami no Shirayukihime Season 3
Fans have been asking for quite a while now about the Akagami no Shirayukihime Season 3. Fans are waiting for the Japanese snow white to hit the small screen as soon as possible.
The studio has produced 24 episodes and an OVA in nearly one year of duration. Until now, 19 volumes of the manga had been published. Therefore, they have enough source content to animate and produce the third installment. Moreover, the manga of the series is ongoing.
It is possible that the third season might be the last season of the Snow White with the Red Hair. This is because the first two seasons did not introduce any major antagonist. In the next scene, after doing his work Zen goes into his bedroom and remembers the touch of Shirayuki. He badly misses her. Then, suddenly someone barges him into his room with a piece of news. A letter from Prince Izana has arrived exclusively for Zen. Then, suddenly Zen orders to prepare to go for a trip to the northern territory. What could be the reason behind the rush? Release Date of Snow White with the Red Hair Season 3
There hasn’t been any official confirmation about Snow White with the Red Hair Season 3. Fans are still hoping for the season to made its come back with another romantic sequel. Its chances of renewal are fairly low. The series has earned positive reviews from the Shojou fans because of its gripping story. However, we know that if the studio has made two seasons of series then we can expect another one too.
Currently, Bones is occupied with Mob Psycho 100 which is going to release in 2020. Therefore, if the studio decides to make Akagami no Shirayukihime Season 3 it can happen in late 2020 or early 2021.
A season 3 wouldn’t even “wrap” anything up though … Given the manga is STILL ongoing and there is literally 2 yrs that go by with obvious stories of their own in there, but as far as their romance is concerned, its still just as it is in season 2 as it is now current to the manga …
I wont reveal any spoilers, I really love this manga, and seeing it brought to anime is an even bigger treat, but were going on almost 10 years in the manga and they aren’t even close to getting ‘married’, its killing me as a long time fan lol. Its a bit ‘drawn out’ (no pun intended lol) for a long story, I mean I can totally understand and respect the author isn’t making everything a ‘wam-bam-thank you-mam’ sorta love story, but I’d like to see them get there soon, before any cancellations of the manga can happen or anything else that could potentially hurt this story line.
I love Snow white with the Red hair and I was and am looking forward to more seasons. I am saving money to buy them on DVD all in English of course. its getting really old seeing so many good amines drooping out before they are fully done.
