Amy Slaton was approved to get a weight loss surgery and lost a significant amount of weight from where she started. She even fulfilled her dream of starting a family with her husband, Michael Halterman, after giving birth to baby boy Gage. However, even after losing 50 pounds initially, Tammy Slaton ended up gaining around 100 pounds again. Currently weighing almost 665 pounds, her physical and mental health are both degrading. Reports say that the reality TV star is depressed because of her weight gain. In fact, medical professionals had previously warned Tammy that she might not live more than five years if she doesn’t lose weight.
Years after the warning, Tammy seems to have made no progress. Amy and half-brother Chris Combs have tried their best to bring her on track.
