The TLC show 1000 Lb Sisters features two sisters struggling with weight-related issues. In the latest season, Amy Slaton faces complications in getting pregnant. At the same time, Tammy Slaton continues to work on her weight loss. However, Season 4 started with Tammy’s emergency visit to the hospital as she stopped breathing. Fortunately, the medical staff was successful in saving her life. But as she re-entered the rehab, she hit her lowest point. She learns that she has gained the highest weight.

The 1000 Lb star, Tammy Slaton, has finally achieved her “told-you-so” moment. As per the Tuesday episode, she hit her milestone. In the recent episode, Tammy’s two sisters, Amanda and Misty, were with her when she learned about her significant weight loss. However, before stepping on the scale, she said she needed to get 550 approved for the surgery. But until then, Tammy hates getting on the scale as her worst fear is gaining weight. She also added that she doesn’t want to disappoint anyone.
And as the video proceeds and Tammy steps on the scale, the nurse shouts, “534.7 pounds”. Everyone was shocked to hear that. However, to confirm it again, Amanda asked if it was real. Her two sisters seem excited to know about it. Misty said she was very proud of her as she finally met the requirements for the surgery. On the other hand, Tammy said she stopped breathing for a second when she saw the scale record 534.7. She couldn’t control her happiness as she got 14 pounds under her goal weight.
The 1000 Lb Sisters star claimed she finally got her “told-you-so” moment. However, expressing her emotions, she said she is feeling thrilled, proud, and excited. Tammy did it and proved everybody wrong that had lost hope in her. Her sisters are happy with her achievement and said that this is what they have been waiting for for so long. Amanda said that she finally made her goal weight which means she will soon get surgery. Although she still needs to see the other doctors, what makes them feel happy is that Tammy has already reached the goal that Dr. Smith set for her.

Although Tammy Slaton has recently reached her goal in the show, in reality, she has already had her surgery. According to reports, Tammy has undergone her bariatric surgery in the summer of 2022 in Lexington, Kentucky. The source claimed that the operation was a little scary, but Tammy is doing much better now. Although her initial days were difficult, she is currently making constant progress. Also, a medical is looking to look after her diet and other stuff.
According to the reports, Tammy desires to go home for a little while, but her family keeps pushing it back. Initially, her release dates were in August 2022, but the date changed to September 2022 as her family delayed it. Fans believe that her family members don’t want her to return home.
