7 Little Johnstons started way back in January 2015. Since then, fans have seen many new things happen with the OG Johnston clan. The show was off-air for a while, and the viewers were sad they couldn’t get their daily dose of family cuteness.
Amber and the other family members kept sharing updates on social media. But that still wasn’t enough. And now, we have some fantastic news for the Johnston audience. TLC has announced a new season, and many new things are in store for the Little People family.
7 Little Johnstons: New Season, New Dates & New Storylines!
Amber, Trent, and their kids have been in the limelight since 2015. But when the show went off the air, the 7 Little Johnstons kept fans updated about their life via social media. However, this wasn’t the same as watching the family on TV at a set time every day.
But we have a big news for the fans. The show is back for another season. TLC announced the dates for Season 14, which premieres on March 12, 2024. And this season has so many new stories. Most of the family members are set to face new ‘stages’ of life. Amber and Trent will begin their empty-nesters life and celebrate 25 years together. They plan to celebrate the landmark anniversary by going on mystery dates and a salsa dance.
Then there are the kids, who are all in various stages of adulting. Emma and Alex will be seniors in high school. While Emma struggles to make friends, Alex faces relationship issues. Alex and his girlfriend Allie are having difficulties in being a long-distance couple. They will have to figure out how to maintain their love.
Anna also had a major achievement this year. Not only did the 23-year-old buy her first house, but she also became the first among her siblings to own a house. The season will also cover Anna’s transition into a house owner.
The eldest 7 Little Johnstons star, Jonah, has a new love – barbequing. And the star might be considering that as a career option. However, the fans are most excited to see Liz and Brice. The pair has a daughter now, so fans hope they see the baby on the show as well. And TLC says the beloved pair will “reveal a big secret they’ve been keeping from the entire family.” So the fans really have something huge to look forward to!
7 Little Johnstons: The Johnston Family Together For Christmas
Festivals do have a way of bringing people together. The Johnston family also met to celebrate their Christmas. Amber, as always, clicked pictures of her kids while they opened their presents. She even posted a cute selfie of herself and Trent with baby Leighton. Not far behind, Liz posted a photo collage of the holiday pictures.
Since the whole family was together for Christmas, they took a family picture. The 7 Little Johnstons were smiling at the camera dressed in Christmas and reindeer-themed pajama sets. Brice was also in the photo, wearing the pajama set, whereas Leighton was in a hoodie.
