Fans had seen the whole drama unfold both on and off the show. The cops had also arrested Leida for a fraud case. So, the fans were curious if the pair’s marriage was still intact. It turns out that there may have been a divorce case involved in recent months. So, did they go their separate ways, or are they still together?

Eric and Leida were a tumultuous pair. The biggest issue in their relationship was how Leida treated Eric’s daughter, Tasha. Leida and Tasha did not get along well, to the point of the involvement of a restraining order. The 90 Day Fiance star got a restraining order against Tasha.
But that was in the past, as they have sorted their issues now. Leida and Tasha are now relatively stable now. But the couple’s life wasn’t stable yet. After her issue with Tasha settled, Leida and Eric started having their own issues. In fact, at one point, there was also a domestic violence case. Leida had threatened to kill herself after her and Eric’s argument.
Fans heard about the fight because of the leaked texts between Leida and her friend about it. But Eric claimed that someone had hacked their account and that they were still together. However, some InTouch reports claim that the pair had filed for divorce on February 12, 2024. According to the reports, Leida filed for divorce in Adams County, Wisconsin. John Yates revealed that Leida had filed, and Eric was the respondent.
The court dismissed the case on February 20, 2024. Leida made her Instagram comeback the same day. The 90 Day Fiance star also posted a video of her and Eric kissing, talking about “Valentine’s Day vibes” in the caption. In another upload, she discussed her date with Eric, indicating the couple was still together.

Leida and Eric’s relationship was anything but smooth. Though they had issues like any other couple, theirs were a little more intense. Eric and Leida had an 11-year age gap between them. Then, there were tensions between Eric’s daughter Tasha and Leida. Leida kicked the teen out and got a restraining order against her.
Then, the 90 Day Fiance star went to prison for her fraud and theft case. She had been making “fraudulent payments and withdrawals.” On the home front, Leida and Eric had a fight in 2019, where Leida threatened to kill herself.
