Many fans criticized Steven for forcing his now-wife Alina to convert to his strict Mormon beliefs while sleeping with multiple women. Shortly, his ex brought up some of their disturbing memories while taking a stand for Alina. She said she also believes in Mormon she had a faith crisis when she started dating him. However, within a couple of months, Steven began showing his true colors.
At first, he appeared as a faithful man who believed in monogamy. But later, he went to Russia for a couple of months. So he could see some more women. Finally, he confessed to Vanessa that he had sex with three women. Thus, instead of staying with him, she decided to call it off. Moreover, Vanessa advised his current wife to leave him.
