The couple moved to Turkey in the new season of ’90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’. They couldn’t be in Alina’s native country, Russia. This was due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Turns out the reality star ended up proposing to his lady love while they were there. They decided not to wait anymore and went ahead with the wedding as well. Hence, they finally sealed the deal in a ‘Turkish’ wedding ceremony. However, this was not the most unexpected part of the occasion.
As per ETOnline’s latest sneak peek of the finale episode, their wedding will be featured in it. The shocking bit of the entire ceremony was the special guests who were present there. It turns out Steven made extra efforts to have Alina’s beloved pet cats in Turkey for their big day. This move delighted the bride, and she couldn’t hold back her tears as the couple exchanged their vows. It seems as if this ‘grand gesture’ made her chuck all his problematic behavior out the window. Instead, she claimed this meant that Steven “knows her very well.”

In their time in ’90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’, Steven and Alina had too many troubles in their relationship. As a result, they are far from being the ‘fan favorites’. Steven has been the real villain who admitted being involved with as many as 100 girls to Alina. He even failed the ‘test’ his fiancee planned for him by asking her friend to flirt with the notorious cast member. As predicted, the TLC star ended up failing. However, Alina was fine with her lover as long as he deleted his social media for her. Moreover, the double standards of the relationship when the American made her sacrifice things like wine and coffee for him drove fans mad.
Things hit the roof when the American at one point even enquired about “seeing other women” from his partner. In fact, 90 Day Fiance viewers were so sure that their relationship would come to an end during this season.
