Brazil native Paula moved to the US to start her journey on 90 Day Fiance with Thomas. Paula believes she used energy and quantum physics to “manifest” Thomas into her life. She also believes that manifestation relates to quantum physics because particles, atoms, and energy make up everything in the cosmos. As thoughts carry energy, manifesting can make things happen in life.
Paula’s spiritual beliefs do not resonate well with Thomas. He loves his minimalist, logical life, and Paula is the exact opposite. Paula has a lot of stuff she brought from Brazil, and Thomas only offers her a small space for it. How does Paula react to it? Did she bring anything else that won’t fit in Thomas’ space? Keep reading for the full story.

Paula takes manifestation very seriously. The 90 Day Fiance star believes thoughts carry energy and that people can shape their reality. She even connects it to quantum physics, saying particles and atoms make up everything around humans. Paula uses small symbolic items to attract bigger things into her life. She also revealed something surprising – she always wanted to marry an American. She wrote a letter to the universe describing her perfect partner as smart, romantic, and American.
Paula believes the universe heard her and sent her Thomas. Thomas sees it very differently. He laughs at the idea that the universe deserves the credit for their relationship. The US native also jokes that Paula refuses to give him any credit at all. Additionally, he finds the whole thing a bit silly. Paula is fully committed to her beliefs, though. These two clearly see the world in completely different ways, which should make for some very interesting moments ahead.
Paula packed up her life in Brazil and moved all the way to Long Beach, California, to be with Thomas. But the 90 Day Fiance star did not know she’d have only a drawer to store all her belongings. Thomas proudly presented Paula with one drawer and suggested she use it to store her socks and belongings. This left Paula unimpressed, and she told him off. The Brazilian said she’s not in the US to play games – she wants a normal life as she had in Brazil.
What she means is she’d love some closet space, not a small bin to stuff all her clothes into. However, Thomas tried to convince her that the storage would fit all her luggage in one suitcase. He also added that he’d agree with her if she fit all her clothes in the drawer and see. Fans watching online had a lot to say. Many felt Thomas was being selfish and unprepared for Paula’s arrival. Others pointed out that the couple already seems to be living in two completely different worlds.
Moreover, Thomas also questioned Paula’s choice to buy expensive stuff. She bought a $250 worth of a spiritual rock and claimed Thomas needed it to clear his negative energy. This made him question Paula’s expenses and whether she would be reckless with his money as well. It seems like a rocky start for the couple. For more updates, follow TV Season & Spoilers.
