The Bachelorette: Taylor Frankie Paul’s Season Canceled After Disturbing Video With Child Leaks

Taylor Frankie Paul is under fire after a past video shows her physically abusing her former partner, Dakota Mortenson. The footage depicts Taylor, the former lead of the newest season of The Bachelorette, putting Dakota in a headlock. She also kicks him and throws objects at him. The situation quickly turns violent and hard to watch. Dakota struggles to record the altercation on video. Taylor stops hitting him with a headlock, then charges at him. At one point, she hurls a barstool at Dakota.

Dakota screams at Taylor, saying, “Your daughter is sitting right there.” Taylor ignores him and throws 2 more barstools at him. Off camera, a child begins crying, which means one of the flying barstools might have hit her. Reports later tell that the child was indeed hit in the head, leading to her having a goose egg on her head. The video has enough evidence to see Taylor put her five-year-old daughter in harm’s way. She pleaded guilty to domestic violence, but the prosecutors dropped charges relating to domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse, and criminal mischief.

Now, Disney didn’t waste time announcing that ABC will axe this season of the reality show featuring Taylor. The company said the decision came immediately after the video surfaced and that it chose not to move forward with the show at this time due to the seriousness of the situation.
