The Alaskan Bush People couple, Billy and Ami’s daughter Rain Brown recently shared an emotional post on her Instagram for Mother’s Day. In that photo, the matriarch was smiling, standing in front of pretty mountains in the evening. Bird captioned the post wishing her mom on the special day and showing her some love. She continued saying that she hoped that one day even she would get at least half as stronger as her. The 28-year-old also mentioned that her mother is her role model. Ami Brown saw the post her sweet daughter posted and reacted with love. Moreover, she replied to the caption with a thank you and said that Bird means the world to her.
The reason why Bird is looking up to her mother is that she has survived the deadly cancer. During her interview with People magazine, the Alaskan Bush People star declared that she is now cancer-free. Ami Brown told them that the cancer journey was scary. But at the same time, she did not lose faith and hoped in God. Now, Bird must find the same hope and faith in God to be strong and defeat the ovarian cancer she is suffering from. Bird Brown posted a video on TikTok reminiscing the battle she fought against cancer exactly a year ago. She becomes more emotional as she goes through the same pain and agony as her mother. Also, Mother’s Day fell on the same day when this 28-year-old got her surgery done one year ago. She remembered everyone who was in her support during the tough time. Bird gave a special shoutout to her mother and sister Rain, who supported her since the beginning of this journey. The Alaskan Bush People castmate also mentioned her dad, saying he would have looked at her the whole time.
The reality TV star suffered from two tumors on both ovaries, which were removed later. This news was revealed to the Alaskan Bush People viewers in Season 14. Although two tumors are removed, the cancer might return as Birdie did not get the complete hysterectomy. Since the surgery, doctors have been keeping track of her condition from time to time.
