Li Goes Over The Edge, Takes Gabi Hostage
On paper, Li and Gabi are now man and wife on Days of Our Lives. However, Gabi has no intentions of staying married to Li. As far as she is concerned, the marriage was over sooner than it happened. Li and Gabi got together only as a side effect of Stefan getting brainwashed out of loving Gabi, and she getting dosed to forget any of it ever happened.
Agreed, Dr. Rolf was responsible for pulling the act, but Li was instrumental in snowballing the entire absurdity. Now that Gabi has regained her memory, she wants nothing to do with Li. Gabi hates him with every fiber of her body. However, Li is madly in love with her. In fact, his “love” is transforming into an obsession rapidly.
Gabi has decided to get her marriage to Li annulled on Days of Our Lives. However, Li is in no mood to let that happen. He is convinced that no one can ever love Gabi like him. Love can make you do crazy things! But the level of crazy on Days of Our Lives is quite high. Li is convinced that anything he did or is doing is in Gabi’s best interest. Perhaps our boy didn’t get the memo that ONLY Gabi gets to decide what’s best for her. If Li takes Gabi, hostage, it will buy him time to propose his undying love to her and defend his decisions. However, it may not win him her love, or even forgiveness for that matter. Moreover, if Gabi is mad at him now, imagine her fury if he holds her down against her will. That certainly won’t go in his favor. But, Alas! Love knows no logic.
