Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, September 8, 2022, revealed the story of Jake’s revival. First, Johnny decided to plan a memorial service to help Ava recover from her loss. EJ taunted Johnny and Gabi about their decision to trust Ava. Then, Johnny invited Gabi and Li to the service. Li took the opportunity to fall on his knee and ask Gabi to marry him.
Meanwhile, Kristen burst into Dr. Rolf’s lab, forcing Stefan to wake up. She dressed him in Jake’s clothes and sent him to Chloe. However, Jake arrived at the DiMera mansion and saw Stefan’s memorial. Ava sighted him and got emotional. Would anyone figure out what’s going on there?
Johnny Plans A Memorial Service
In this Days of Our Lives episode, we saw EJ DiMera complain to Gabi because she hired Ava. He was convinced Ava’s mental issues would backfire, and he also did not believe she was married to Jake before he died. Johnny met Ava in her room and asked her about the new job. Ava did not want to come between Johnny and EJ, but Johnny insisted EJ was being troublesome.
Furthermore, Johnny mentioned EJ’s plan to host a memorial service for Jake in the crypt. Ava could not believe it, but Johnny wanted to have one. Ava understood this was to help her forget Jake and thanked Johnny for thinking of her.
Days Of Our Lives Recap: Li Asks Gabi To Marry Him
Meanwhile, Li Shin fought with Dr. Rolf at the lab, and later met Gabi. He learned about EJ’s drama. Gabi received a call from Johnny informing her about Jake’s memorial. Johnny wanted Gabi and Li to come for the service. Gabi wanted Li to join her and be by her side. In this Days of Our Lives episode, Li got down to one knee and asked Gabi to marry him.
Speaking of EJ, he continued to taunt Ava about her so-called hallucinations and a new bond with Johnny. EJ heard about the memorial service and claimed Johnny had a lot of ideas. Johnny spoke to Tony and Anna, and later met EJ as well. EJ told him Ava would not be able to sit through the memorial.
Jake Arrives At Stefan’s Memorial
At the town square, Kristen pushed Chloe to reveal the truth. Chloe mentioned testifying at the custody hearing. Later, Chloe told Brady Black what happened and decided it was best not to take the stand. Kristen burst into Dr. Rolf’s lab and wanted Stefan to be conscious. Dr. Rolf was unsure as he needed to work on Stefan and if Stefan would fall in love with Chloe.
However, Kristen did not care. Stefan was up, and Kristen questioned him immediately. He was confused but could tell where he was and could remember Chloe’s name. Kristen told Stefan to get the woman he loved and dressed him in Jake’s suit. “Jake” was sent to Chloe’s hotel room and seemed uncertain about everything.
Things did not go as planned in this Days of Our Lives episode. Kristen arrived at Chloe’s room to check on things and was surprised to see Brady there. Meanwhile, “Jake” arrived at the DiMera mansion and was surprised to see Stefan’s memorial. Ava ran into him and got emotional about another vision about Jake. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC.
